Born April 14, 1895, in Germany. Education: National Academy of Design, 1915–16; Beaux Arts Institute of Design, 1917–18.

Exhibited at the Chicago Arts Club, 1927, 1930; American Federation of Arts, 1928, 1929; Brooklyn Society of Etchers, 1929, 1930, 1931; College Art Association, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932; Whitney Studio Club, 1929; Casper Gallery, Berlin, 1930; Carnegie International, 1931; Art Institute of Chicago; Victoria and Albert Museum. Represented in Fine Prints of the Year,  1928–31; American Etchings, 1930, 1931; Fifty Prints of the Year, 1927–30; The New Woodcut, 1930.
