FETTER, FRANK WHITSON:  Appointed for studies of the development of theories of money, banking and international finance in England between 1800 and 1870; tenure, eight months from June 15, 1937, and three months from June 15, 1938.

Born May 22, 1899, at San Francisco, California.  Education:  Swarthmore College, A.B., 1920; Harvard University, A.M., 1924; Princeton University, A.M., 1922, Ph.D., 1926.

Instructor in Economics, 1924–25, 1927–28, Assistant Professor, 1928–34, Princeton University; Associate Professor of Economics, 1934–36, Professor, 1936—, Haverford College.
