SANDGROUND, JACK HENRY:  Appointed for the investigation, chiefly in the Dutch East Indies, of several problems in the field of comparative parasitology; tenure, twelve months from June 11, 1938.

Born February 2, 1899, in South Africa.  Education:  University of South Africa, B.Sc., 1919, M.Sc., 1920; Johns Hopkins University, D.Sc., 1925.

Junior Lecturer in Zoology, 1920–21, Lecturer in Zoology, 1921–22, University College, Johannesburg; Instructor in Helminthology, 1925–30, Assistant Professor and Curator, 1930—, Harvard University Medical School.
