Science journalist Joshua Foer was born in Washington, D.C., in 1982, and currently resides in New Haven, Connecticut, with his wife and son. He is the author of the international bestseller Moonwalking with Einstein, about the art and science of memory. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker, Esquire, National Geographic, Slate, and other publications. In addition to his journalism, Joshua is the co-founder of Atlas Obscura, a guide to the world’s wondrous and curious places, and the design competition Sukkah City.
