KLITGAARD, KAJ:  Appointed for the preparation of a book, with illustrative maps and charts, on the United States, giving emphasis to the art of painting throughout the country and to local native art; tenure, twelve months from August 15, 1937.

Born May 19, 1888, in Denmark.  Education:  R. N. R. School, Copenhagen, 1911; Copenhagen Navigation School, Master Mariner, 1910.

Publications:  Seven Months and Seven Days, 1930; Hr. N. N.’s Utrolige Rejser, 1934. Illustrator of the above and of Voyage of the Beagle, 1931. Poems in The Seven Arts and Tilskueren.
