BLINKS, LAWRENCE ROGERS:  Appointed for research into the relations of metabolism to the bio-electric properties of certain large plant cells; tenure, twelve months from October 15, 1939.

Born April 22, 1900, at Michigan City, Indiana.  Education:  Harvard University, S.B., 1923, A.M., 1925, Ph.D., 1926. Bermuda Biological Station, 1923–24; Carnegie Institution, Dry Tortugas Laboratory, Summers, 1926 to 1929.

Assistant in General Physiology, 1926–29, Associate, 1929–33, Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research; Associate Professor of Biology, 1933–36, Professor, 1936—, Stanford University.
