POST, LEVI ARNOLD:  Appointed for a study of the text tradition of Plato’s Laws; research chiefly in the Library of the Vatican; tenure, twelve months from June 18, 1932.

Born July 8, 1889, at Stanfordville, New York. Education: Haverford College, B.A., M.A., 1911; Harvard University, M.A., 1912; University of Oxford, Rhodes Scholar from Pennsylvania (New College), B.A., 1916, M.A., 1922; University of Caen, 1919.

Instructor in French, 1917–18, Instructor in Greek, 1919–22, Assistant Professor, 1922–28, Professor, 1928—, Haverford College.

Publications: Meander: Three Plays, 1929; Thirteen Epistles of Plato, 1925. Articles in The Classical Weekly, The Quarterly Review, The Hibbert Journal, The American Journal of Philology, Transactions of the American Philological Association, The Classical Quarterly.
