Born May 12, 1906, at Lockney, Texas. Education:  Rice Institute, B.A., 1926, M.A., 1927, Ph.D., 1931.

Instructor in Physics, 1929–30, University of Pittsburgh; Instructor in Physics, 1930–36, Assistant Professor, 1936—, Lehigh University.
