Born February 14, 1908, at Natick, Massachusetts. Education: Boston University, S.B., 1928; Harvard University, A.M., 1929; Washington University, Ph.D., 1933.

Research associate in Mycology, 1933–34, Washington University; Mycologist and Investigator in Dermatology, 1934—, The Barnard Free Skin and Cancer Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
