MALDARELLI, ORONZIO:  Appointed for creative work in sculpture, abroad; tenure, twelve months from October 1, 1931.

Born September 8, 1893, in Italy.  Education:  Cooper Union; National Academy of Design; Beaux Arts Institute of Design, New York City.

Instructor of Free Hand Drawing, 1928–29, Cooper Union, Greenwich House.

Exhibited at Architectural League of New York City, Art Institute of Chicago, Pennsylvania Academy, Grand Central Art Galleries, All-American Sculpture Exhibition of San Francisco, Art Alliance of Philadelphia, Brooklyn Museum.  Awarded Avery Prize, Architectural League, New York, for “Labor”; Fairmount Park Art Association Prize, Philadelphia, 1930, for “Resignation”; Garden Club Prize, New York, 1929, for “Baby Triton”. “Head of St. John” in permanent collection of City Art Museum of St. Louis.
