Born June 16, 1906, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Education:  Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences, University of Buenos Aires, Doctor in Chemistry, 1932; study in Germany, 1933. Carlos Berg Prize, Faculty of Exact Sciences, University of Buenos Aires, 1942.
