Robert Sullivan is the author of eight books, including The Meadowlands, Rats, How Not To Get Rich, My American Revolution and A Whale Hunt. His writing has appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines, including A Public Space, where he is a contributing editor. He taught a science seminar for several years at the Macaulay Honors College, at the City University of New York’s Hunter College, and currently teaches writing at Bread Loaf School of English. He recently completed a ten-year survey of post-Civil War western landscape photography and is currently investigating the connections between music, landscape and community. He lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
