MOONEY, ROSE C. LeDIEU:  Appointed for researches into the structure of crystals, in particular by methods of x-ray analysis; tenure, twelve months from September 1, 1939.

Born October 23, 1902, at New Orleans, Louisiana. Education:  H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College, B.S., 1926; Tulane University, M.S., 1929; University of Chicago, Ph.D., 1932. Johns Hopkins University, California Institute of Technology, University of Michigan, Summers, 1934–38.

Instructor in Physics, 1927–32, H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College; Assistant Professor of Physics, 1932–36, Associate Professor, 1936—, H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College and Tulane University.
