Sandra Lim is the author of three collections of poetry, most recently, The Curious Thing, which will be published by W.W. Norton in the fall of 2021. Her second book, The Wilderness (W.W. Norton, 2014), is a winner of the Barnard Women Poets Prize chosen by Louise Glück. Loveliest Grotesque (Kore Press, 2006) received the Kore Press First Book Award selected by Marilyn Chin. Lim’s poems have appeared in a range of literary journals and magazines, including The New York Review of Books, Poetry, The New Republic, The Baffler, and The Yale Review. Her honors include an Arts and Letters Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Levis Reading Prize for The Wilderness, and residency fellowships from MacDowell and the Getty Foundation. She is currently an Associate Professor of English at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and lives in Cambridge, MA.
