BRITTON, SYDNEY WILLIAM:  Appointed for investigations of the function of the adrenal cortex and the kidney in primitive mammalian forms and in some of the primates; tenure, three months in the Spring of 1937 and three months in the Spring of 1938.

Born February 24, 1892, in England. Education:  McGill University, B.S., 1922, M.D., C.M., 1924. National Research Council Fellow, Harvard University, 1924–26.

Instructor in Physiology, 1922–24, McGill University; Research Assistant in Physiology, 1924–26, Johns Hopkins University; Professor of Physiology, 1928—, University of Virginia.
