Born in Lyon, France, Camille Bordas is the author of four novels. Her first two novels—Les Treize Desserts (2009) and Partie Commune (2011)—were written in French. She wrote How to Behave in a Crowd (2017) and The Material (forthcoming, 2024) in English. Her fiction has appeared in The New Yorker, Harper’s, and The Paris Review. She lives in Chicago.
