Ed Hill

Suzanne Bloom and Ed Hill (MANUAL) began their artistic collaboration in 1974 with their conceptual photographic series Art in Context; Homage to Walter Benjamin. Also considered pioneers of digital photography, exhibitions including their photographs, videos, multimedia installations, and digital animations have been seen in over 250 solo and group shows held nationally and internationally. A print catalog, MANUAL: errant arcadia (ICP, NYC, and Houston Artists Fund, 2002), surveys the work from their Arcadian Project, one of twenty-two extended conceptual projects they have produced to date.

Their proposed undertaking, BEECH // BOOK; an Emblematic Pairing, will allow them to bring together and explore the multifaceted, dynamic interrelations between two major constructs, Nature and Culture.
