Born April 26, 1901, in England. Education: Graphic Sketch Club, Philadelphia, 1911–18; Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, 1917–21 (Cresson travelling scholarship, 1920); Art Students League, 1928–30.
Exhibited at Addison Gallery of American Art, 1932; Graphic Sketch Club, 1932; Whitney Museum of American Art, 1932, 1933, 1934; Pennsylvania Museum, 1933; Art Institute of Chicago, 1934; Roerich Museum, 1934; Pennsylvania Academy, 1934; Venice Biennial exhibition, 1934.
