Coleman, George Hopkins: Appointed to make an experimental study of a new method for the preparation of amines by the reaction of organomagnesium halides with chloroamines and related compounds, principally with Professor Victor Grignard, University of Lyons, France; tenure, twelve months from July 1, 1928.

Born October 5, 1891, at Evansville, Wisconsin. Education: Greenville College, B.S., 1915; University of Illinois, M.S., 1919, Ph.D., 1921.

Instructor in Chemistry, Summer 1921, University of Illinois; Instructor in Chemistry, 1921–22, Associate in Chemistry, 1922–24, Assistant Professor, 1924—, State University of Iowa.
