Feis, Herbert: Appointed to make a study of the French, British and German pre-war experience in foreign investment as a broad and varied historical basis for consideration of the probable significance and effects of the present flow of American capital into foreign lands; tenure, eight months from June 1, 1926.

Born June 7, 1893, in New York City. Education: Harvard University, A.B., 1916, Ph.D., 1921; Sheldon Traveling Fellow in Great Britain and France, 1919–20.

Instructor and Tutor, Department of Economics, Harvard University, 1919–21; Associate Professor of Economics, University of Kansas, 1921–23; Professor of Economics, University of Cincinnati, 1924—; collaborator on American industrial affairs, International Labour Office, League of Nations, Geneva, June, 1923–January, 1924, and summers 1924, 1925, 1926.
