JOHNSTON, IVAN MURRAY: Appointed for a study of the trans-equatorial relationship between the far separated xerophytic and montane floras of North and South America, and particularly for research in Chile, Argentina and England for the assembling of detailed data on the South American aspects of the problem; tenure, twelve months from November 1, 1932.
