ROA Y REYES, JORGE:  Appointed to make the studies of the economic relations of the United States and Latin American republics, chiefly at Columbia University; tenure, twelve months from July 20, 1931.

Born March 19, 1888, in Havana, Cuba. Education:  Instituto de Artes y Letras, Islas Canarias, 1898–1901; Escuela de Artes e Industrias, Cuba, 1901–08.

Professor of Domestic and International Trade and Tariffs, 1927–28, Professor of Statistics, 1928—, University of Havana.
