BOUCHÉ, LOUIS:  Appointed for creative work in painting, abroad; tenure, twelve months from June 3, 1933.

Born March 18, 1896, in New York City. Education:  Atleier Colarossi, La Grande Chaumière, Paris, 1910–15; Art Students League, 1915–16.

Assistant Director, 1930–32, New York School of Interior Decoration.

Exhibited in First New York Independents, 1917, Tri-National Exhibition, Architectural League, Pennsylvania Academy, Century of Progress Exhibition of Painting and Sculpture.  Represented in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York University Gallery of Living Art, Phillips Memorial Gallery.
