Lewis, Monty:  Appointed for creative work in painting, abroad; tenure, twelve months from May 1, 1930.

Born September 6, 1906, at Cardiff, Wales. Education: The Art Students League of New York, 1924–27; studied drawing and composition with Kimon Nicolaides, painting and composition with Kenneth Hayes Miller, Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Scholarship, 1928.

Exhibitions: Tiffany Foundation, 1928 and 1929.
