JACKSON, LEE:  Appointed for creative work in painting; tenure, twelve months from April 1, 1941.

Born February 2, 1909, in New York City.  Education:  New York University, 1928–29. Studies in drawing and composition with William C. McNulty, and in painting with George Luks and John Sloan, Art Students League, 1932–35.

Exhibitions:  Exhibited at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, National Academy of Design, Golden Gate International Exposition, National Gallery of Canada, Art Gallery of Montreal, Art Association of Montreal, Corcoran Gallery of Art.
