DASBURG, ANDREW:  Appointed for creative work in painting and for study of contemporary Mexican fresco painting; tenure, twelve months from April 1, 1932.

Born May 4, 1887, in France. Education: Art Students League, and New York School of Art.

Instructor of painting and drawing, 1919–20, Art Students League.

Awarded second prize, Pan-American Exhibition of Paintings, Los Angeles, 1925; third prize, Twenty-sixth International Exhibition of Paintings, Carnegie Institute, 1927; Awarded Allegheny County Garden Club prize, Thirtieth International Exhibition of Paintings, Carnegie Institute, 1931. Represented in the permanent collections of the Denver Art Museum, Los Angeles Museum, Whitney Museum of American Art.
