Born October 6, 1895, in Todd County, Kentucky. Education:  Bethany College, B.A., 1916.

Publications:  Penhally, 1931. Short stories in Scribner’s Magazine, The Hound & Horn and O’Brien’s Best Short Stories of 1930.

Spouse: Allen Tate, Fellow in Poetry, 1928, 1929
