PEREIRA SALAS, EUGENIO:  Appointed for studies in the field of the history of commercial relations between the United States and Spanish America, especially Chile, chiefly at the University of California and in the Library of Congress; tenure, twelve months from June 10, 1933.

Born May 19, 1904, at Santiago, Chile. Education: Colegio La Salle, 1911–16; National Institute, Bachiller, 1924; Pedagogical Institute, Profesor de Historia y Geografía, 1929; University of Paris, 1926–28; University of Berlin, 1930–31.
