MEYER, GEORGE WILBUR.  Appointed for a study of the philosophical and artistic development of William Wordsworth from 1798 to 1814; tenure, twelve months from September 1943 (postponed).

Born May 12, 1912, St. Louis, Missouri. Education:  University of Michigan, A.B., 1932, Ph.D., 1941. Studies in Europe, 1933–34.

Teaching Fellow, 1934–37, University of Michigan; Instructor in English, 1937–40, Assistant Professor, 1940—, Cleveland College of Western Reserve University.
