MOSKOWITZ, IRA. Appointed for creative work in lithography and drawing; tenure, twelve months from a date to be determined in 1943; postponed to March 15, 1944.

Born March 15, 1912, in Poland.  Education:  Art Students League, 1929–31; private studies with Harry Wickey.

Exhibitions:  One-man shows:  8th Street Playhouse, 1934; Houston Museum, 1941; San Antonio Museum, 1941. Exhibited at Art Students League, Art Institute of Chicago, Philadelphia Print Club, College Art Association, International Exhibition of Graphic Arts. Represented in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Whitney Museum, New York Public Library, Houston Museum, Albany Institute of History and Art.
