McCARTER, JANET RUTH.  Appointed for studies in the field of immunology of infectious diseases, in particular observations on the aerological and biological activities of tuberculo-proteins; tenure, twelve months from July 1, 1944.

Born March 4, 1906, Duluth, Minnesota.  Education:  Carleton College, 1925–26; University of Wisconsin, B.S., 1930, M.S., 1931, Ph.D., 1933.
