MISRAHI, JEAN PAUL:  Appointed to prepare a critical edition of Chrétien de Troyes’ Erec et Enide, comprising literary and linguistic studies as introduction, text and variants, textual notes and glossary; tenure, twelve months from July 1, 1936.

Born March 24, 1910, in New York City. Education:  Columbia University, A.B., 1929, Ph.D., 1933; studies at the Universities of Nancy and Paris and the École des Hautes Êtudes, 1927–31.

Research Assistant in French, 1933—, Columbia University; Tutor in French, 1933–35, Instructor, 1936—, Brooklyn College.

Publications:  Le Roman des Sept Sages, 1933. Articles in Romanic Review, Medium Aevum, French Review, Publications of the Modern Language Association of America.
