LUCO VALENZUELA, JOAQUÍN:  Appointed for studies in the field of physiology, especially the action of certain drugs on smooth muscle; tenure, twelve months from October 21, 1937.

Born July 18, 1913, at Santiago, Chile. Education: University of Chile, Licence in Medicine, 1935, Physician-surgeon, 1936; Harvard University, 1936–37.
