Rice, John Andrew, Jr.: Appointed for an investigation of the authorship of “A Tale of a Tub,” based on newly-discovered evidence, and of other questions connected therewith; tenure, twelve months from June 15, 1927.

Born February 1, 1888, at Lynchburg, South Carolina. Education: Tulane University, A.B., 1911; Queen’s College, Oxford University, Rhodes Scholar from Louisiana (first class in Jurisprudence), B.A., 1914.
