Born January 17, 1917, Santiago de Chile. Education:  University of Chile, Graduate in Law, 1941, Professor of Philosophy and Psychology, 1942.

Assistant Professor of Philosophy, 1941, Pedagogical Institute of the University of Chile; Professor of General Psychology, 1943, State School of Social Work, Santiago.

Publications:  Homenaje Poético al Pueblo Español, 1937; Los Trabajos y los Días, 1939; Idea de la Individualidad, 1943 (awarded First Prize in the Chilean National Literary Contest, 1942). Articles and essays in Revista Atenea, Revista Universitaria.
