SCOTT, KENNETH:  Appointed for research in the religious and political history of the Roman Empire; in particular, a study of the development of Roman Emperor Worship in the 1^st century A.D.; tenure, six months from February 1, 1934.

Born May 4, 1900, at Waterbury, Connecticut. Education:  Williams College, A.B., 1921; University of Wisconsin, M.A., 1923, Ph.D., 1925; American School of Classical Studies, Athens, 1921–22; American Academy in Rome, 1923; University of Berlin, 1926–27.

Instructor in Classics, 1923–24, Assistant Professor, 1925–27, University of Wisconsin; Assistant Professor of Latin, 1927–29, Yale University; Professor of Classics, 1929—, Western Reserve University.

Publications:  Selections from Latin Prose and Poetry, 1933 (with K. P. Harrington).
