Morn December 3, 1936. My first films (1970 – 71) are mostly silent and meditative. The four films of “Elective Affinities’” (1971 – 73) use sonic elements equal to visual ones in formal structures. I made 8 more films and videos since then. The latest is from 2023. These continue to explore sound and image relationships that involve memory for the viewer. Without being didactic they touch on philophical and cultural issues. Hey have been shown in major museums and other institutions and festivals in the US, Europe and Asia.
