Odette England is an artist and writer. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in public collections including the Museum of Modern Art, George Eastman Museum, Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Photography, New Mexico Museum of Art, and the RISD Museum.

Honors and fellowships include Light Work, RISCA Fellowship in Photography, Peter E. Palmquist Memorial Fund Grant, Silver Eye Center for Photography Fellowship, Firecracker Photographic Grant, Film Photo Award, Anonymous Was a Woman, Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the CENTER Project Launch Award.

Her award-winning books including Dairy Character, published by Saint Lucy and winner of the $5,000 Light Work Book Award; Past Paper Present Marks published by Radius and recipient of a $5,000 Robert Rauschenberg Foundation publication grant; and Keeper of the Hearth published by Schilt Publishing.

England has an MA in Communication Culture and Language from the University of South Australia, an MFA in Photography with Honors from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a PhD from the Australian National University.
