ZWEMER, RAYMUND LULL:  Appointed for a study of the factors involved in the maintenance, by living cells, of a differential permeability to electrolytes; tenure, eight months from February 1, 1941.

Born March 30, 1902, in Arabia.  Education:  Hope College, A.B., 1923; Yale University, Ph.D., 1926. National Research Council Fellow, Harvard University and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, 1926–28.

Instructor in Anatomy, 1928–31, Assistant Professor, 1931—, Columbia University Medical School.
