Vincent Grenier

Vincent Grenier was born in Quebec City, Canada. He has lived largely in the U.S., mostly in New York City. He was a frequent contributor to the Montreal Art scene of the 70s and 80s as well as the San Francisco Bay areas where he received an M.F.A. at the San Francisco Art Institute in the early 70s. Grenier’s experimental films and videos have earned numerous awards and have shown in North America, Europe, and China at major museums and showcases. He has made over two dozen films and, since 1990, videos. He currently lives in Ithaca, New York, and teaches at nearby Binghamton University.
