Former Trustees
Over the years, the Guggenheim Foundation has been fortunate to have exceptionally capable and dedicated individuals on its Board of Trustees. The number of Trustees has ranged from seven, as named in the Foundation’s Charter, to as many as fifteen.
*Before May 1961, the title of President meant Chairman of the Board, and the chief executive officer (Henry Allen Moe) was called Secretary (1925-37) and Secretary-General (1937-61). Before June 1973, the title of Vice President meant Vice Chairman of the Board.
